Day 1: Arrival in Uganda
Welcome to the Pearl of Africa! You arrive at Entebbe International Airport, located on a peninsula that juts into the largest fresh water lake in Africa, where you are received by a guide or representative from Uzuri Uganda Safaris and are transferred to Cassia Lodge for for overnight.

Day 2: Drive to Murchison Falls NP
Wake at leisure and enjoy your breakfast. After breakfast, your driver/guide will be with you to commence your drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Your first stop is the Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary where rhinos that got wiped out in the Ugandan wild are being bred before they are re-introduced back in the Uganda national parks. When you arrive at the Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a guide and armed rangers will take you on either a walking/by vehicle safari to look for the rhinos. Once you have spotted the rhinos, you will stay in their presence for a while. You will enjoy lunch within the Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary after, which you will return to your vehicle to complete your transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. On arrival, you will check-in at Murchison River Lodge for dinner and overnight. You can upgrade to Paara Safari Lodge for Luxury.

Day 3: Morning Game drive & boat launch to bottom of Murchison Falls
Murchison Falls National Park with the Nile river crossed by it, the savannah with its elephant herds, the largest population of Rothschild giraffes (over 1000), the un-ending Buffalo herds, the lions, the elusive leopard all await you on this balloon flight. You are up at 6.00 am and are delivered at the balloon launch spot. Once in the balloon, you lift off at dawn for safari that lasts 2 hours. Admire herds of buffalo, elephants seen from above. You rise as the sun rises and float in whatever direction the wind takes you. Fly high above the trees and hills to enjoy the best of Murchison Falls National Park with many great photo opportunities of scenery and wildlife below. You enjoy breakfast in the bush right after the balloon safari. After your flight, continue on a game drive in a safari vehicle and return to the lodge later. After your lunch at 2.00pm, you will head out for the boat launch to the bottom of the powerful Murchison Falls. This three-hour boat cruise climaxes at the edge of the rift valley escarpment at which point you will get off the boat and trek to the top of the falls (wear sports shoes while on the boat for ease of trekking to the top). Having worked up a sweat, once at the top, get bathed in the misty spray that the Nile create as it forces itself into the 7-metre cleft to create the famous Murchison Falls. Your guides will be waiting up top to transfer you back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Dinner and overnight at Murchison River Lodge.

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking in Budongo Forest
After your breakfast this morning, head to Budongo Forest, part of the Murchison Falls National Park conservation area, for chimpanzee tracking. Wear your light hiking shoes/boots and long trousers/shirts/blouses. You will be taken on a guided walk in search of the habituated chimpanzee family. Carry your binoculars and also look out for some birds as Budongo is a critical birding place for the Uganda birding safaris. After your chimpanzee trek, you will return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Dinner and overnight at your lodge

Day 5: Transfer back to Kampala & Departure
Today, wake up at leisure and enjoy your breakfast. After breakfast, relax in and around the beautiful lodge ahead of your check-out at 10.00am. After check-out, you will commence your transfer back to Kampala with a lunch stop in Masindi town. You should arrive back in Kampala in the early evening. Your guide should drop you back at an appointed drop off or the airport if you are flying out back home.
